Huawei's agreement with Russia-based communications company MTS on Wednesday to develop the 5G network in the country next year was considered a security threat in the US. The agreement was signed between Chinese leader Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting in Moscow.

MTS said the agreement was on the development of 5G technologies and the introduction of 5th generation networks in 2019-20. Guo Ping from Huawei said they were extremely happy with this agreement they made in a strategically important area like 5G.
Huawei has been in a lot of confusion since May 2019, when the Trump administration banned US companies from selling high-tech equipment on suspicion that the Chinese technology giant spied on Beijing.
Experts, the decision will take effect within 3 months for the smartphones produced by the United States chips that threaten the future of Huawei said.
