"We can review our sanctions against Huawei under certain guarantees if we continue to trade with China on this matter, but our sanctions on national security issues will continue," US Treasury Secretary Mnuchin said on Sunday.

In May, the United States enacted a law that allowed the country's companies to prohibit them from selling their technology to foreign companies and banning commercially prohibited companies that they found risky for national security.

Huawei, who has long been seen as a security threat by the US intelligence community after this law, faced serious sanctions. With this law, US-based companies stopped selling parts and software to Huawei, and as a result, the commercial war between the US and China became increasingly angry.
