Huawei's sub-brand HONOR announced its first smart television Vision TV at Huawei Developer Conference (HDC) 2019. The television will have a three-sided frameless display design and a 55-inch 4K panel with HDR support, with a 94% screen to body ratio. The television will be powered by the HONGHU 818 quad-core chipset. It will bring along the new HarmonyOS, which can enable multi-device interaction, and the Magic-link, which allows you to project pictures/videos on your phone.

Honor vision, vision pro tv is built on the single-chip HiSilicon Hongjun 818 platform. HiSilicon releases single-chip platforms for many years. Back in 2014, the first SoC with support for 4K hardware video decoding debuted, and Honghu 818 provides hardware decoding of 8K video at 30fps and 4K video at 120fps.
It also supports multitasking (due to this promised almost unprecedented for TV responsiveness of the graphical interface) and a lot of branded technology: MEMC (system of dynamic change of image quality on the screen), HDR, NR (system of noise reduction), DCI, ACM (system of automatic color management). And that's not all.
SoC provides a neural processor to speed up artificial intelligence tasks. For example, the recognition of user faces and voice commands in the address of a smart assistant. Face recognition is performed with the help of a camera. It is specially made retractable.
The built-in artificial intelligence-enabled camera on vision TV's Pro model will be able to watch your face wisely when needed. No matter how far away you go, you will be able to seamlessly switch between large and small screens for 1080p video mirrors. The tv audio assistant will offer six microphones that can detect your voice even when you're away.
Vision TV Pro will also feature 60W (6 x 10W) speakers with sound effects for a stunning audio experience. In addition, these speakers will come with automatic volume adjustment settings depending on the channel.

The TV can wake up from standby mode in just 1 second and turn on in 2 seconds. The TV will be only 6.9 mm at its thinnest point. The television will also have a 3D curved metal frame, a diamond pattern at the back, a dynamic screen protector and minimalist user interface design. You will be able to control via Bluetooth, which means you can also use your phone as a remote control.
